AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) – A suspect is dead following a conflict with police on a city bus.
Authorities state the man went on a criminal activity spree prior to coming face to face with officers on the bus, triggering a disruption at a group house, threatening individuals waiting near a bus stop, and robbing a corner store.
” This event started around 6 this night in northwest Aurora,” stated interim Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates. “The suspect included was a guest at a work-release program for Arapahoe County kept track of detainees at a center near the corner of Colfax and Moline. This center is for individuals who have actually been sentenced and have psychological health and drug abuse problems.
