Damian Williams, the United States Lawyer for the Southern District of New york city, revealed earlier today that a federal jury discovered HOWARD ADELGLASS guilty for his involvement in a conspiracy to illegally recommend oxycodone. The accused was condemned following a two-week trial prior to U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff. Sentencing is set up for March 8, 2023, prior to Judge Rakoff.
U.S. Lawyer Damian Williams stated: “Doctor Howard Adelglass was a drug dealership, however rather of marketing drugs on the street corner, he dispersed drugs with a prescription pad from his Central Park South ‘pain-management center.’ For several years, the accused recommended huge amounts of extremely addicting and lethal opioids to individuals he understood were experiencing drug abuse conditions or were dealerships. HOWARD ADELGLASS was a certified doctor. Together with Marcello Sansone, the accused ran a pain-management center situated in Midtown Manhattan (the “Center”). The Center serviced supposed clients looking for oxycodone and other pain-relief medications frequently diverted for illegal functions.
